The SPCA will be presenting three special events in our 2017 fiscal year. These events are an integral part of the operating budget as all directly benefit the programs and services the SPCA provides Erie County citizens and animals every day of the year.
150th Anniversary Gala
To celebrate 150 years of compassion, the SPCA hosted a Gala at the Hotel @ The Lafayette on January 28, 2017. The evening featured a three-course meal, music by Ken Kaufman, a silent and a live auction, and more! Our host for the evening was WKBW's Mike Randall. Wine and Wags Social
Presented by Kiss 98.5, our Wine & Wags Social is a wine and food tasting event for people... and their dogs! Wine & Wags will be held on June 7, 2017. Guests will enjoy sampling wine, beer, and food from local wineries and restaurants. There will also be several pet-themed vendors and exhibitors as well as a silent auction and basket raffle. Wine & Wags will be held on the grounds of our brand new shelter at 300 Harlem Rd. in West Seneca. Visit the Wine and Wags page of our website for more details!
Paws in the Park Walk
As the SPCA’s longest-running fundraiser, Paws in the Park invites people to come with (or without) their dog for a scenic two-mile walk at Beaver Island State Park. The event will be held on September 23, 2017 and will include the opportunity for participants to interact with 50+ pet-related vendors and exhibitors, dog contests, an agility course for the dogs, and fun for children and adults alike. Participants are encouraged to raise pledges that directly benefit the people and animals that the SPCA assists. In return, these participants earn exciting prizes.
